The MD-HQ Story

MD-HQ's EMR was developed in close collaboration between a busy family practitioner (Alan Dappen MD) and an experienced computer programmer (Alan's son Ben Dappen).

After using a number of products over the years, it became clear to Alan that the cost, functionality, and speed of existing electronic medical records systems were hurting his practice. A better product was needed. Our EMR was developed through extensive beta testing and has been used and improved by an active and growing practice. Two years ago, we began developing in the cloud so that users could access records not only at the office but also from home and on the road. Our EMR also works on iPads, iPhones, and Android mobile devices!
